Lidl launches affordable portable air conditioner in UK stores

British discount retailer Lidl is introducing a new line of nine cooling products in its UK stores on 25 June 2026. The centerpiece is the Tronic 3‑in‑1 portable air‑conditioner, priced at £149, which offers air‑conditioning, fan and dehumidifying modes, two fan speeds and wheels for easy movement.

The range also includes a tower fan (£17.99), a large bladeless fan (£59.99), a portable air cooler (£14.99), a mini desk fan (£14.99), a portable fan (£7.99), cooling bedding items such as a pillowcase (£3.99) and pillow (£6.99), and a Zoofari dog‑cooling mat (£4.99). Lidl says the products are aimed at households coping with a summer heatwave that has seen temperatures reach 40 °C in parts of the country. All items are available while stocks last and will be sold nationwide in Lidl’s middle‑aisle sections.
