Lidl launches ultra‑cheap kitchen accessory sets in UK and Denmark

Lidl has added a new line of low‑price kitchen accessories across its European stores. In the United Kingdom, the retailer introduced a range of silicone microwave accessories—including a popcorn maker, steamer, rice cooker and pasta cooker—each priced at €4.99. The items are BPA‑free, heat‑resistant from –20 °C to 200 °C, dishwasher‑safe and designed for quick, mess‑free cooking.

In Denmark, Lidl is promoting a stainless‑steel utensil set consisting of a ladle, slotted spoon, spatula and whisk, sold for €8.99. The metal pieces tolerate temperatures up to 250 °C, are dishwasher‑compatible and feature hanging loops for easy storage. Both promotions have generated expectations of long queues at Lidl outlets as shoppers seek the inexpensive cookware.
