Lidl offers infrared wall heater to prevent mold

Lidl is introducing a Tronic brand infrared wall heater starting October 19, priced at approximately 29.99 euros. The device is designed to help prevent mold growth by warming the wall itself rather than the room air, which helps dry the surface and prevent condensation. This is particularly aimed at addressing cold walls in older buildings.

The product includes mounting material, a drilling template, and connection cables, and can be used either mounted on a wall or standing on the floor. Experts note that the device should be used for prevention after existing mold has been treated, rather than being applied directly to active mold infestations.
