Lidl opens new supermarket in Lescar and plans expansion in Lannion

Lidl has opened a new supermarket in Lescar, France, at a new commercial hub located at 2 rue d’Arsonval. The facility, which replaces the brand's previous location in Lons, features a 1,478 m² sales area and employs 23 staff members.

The new infrastructure was designed with eco-responsible materials and low-consumption equipment. It utilizes 100% green electricity, supported by 1,270 m² of photovoltaic panels. The site includes 66 parking spaces within a larger 166-space lot.

Separately, Lidl is planning to construct a new supermarket in Lannion. The local municipality has proposed using the space of the former Géant Casino for this project, a move that has received support from local gallery merchants.
