Lidl opens unique two-story metropolitan store in Bratislava

Lidl has opened a new metropolitan-concept store in the center of Bratislava on Vysokej Street. This location is unique in Slovakia as it is the first to feature a sales area spread across two above-ground floors.

The store covers a total area of 1,078 square meters and is the 25th Lidl location in the capital city. To accommodate the dense urban environment, the design utilizes escalators and a glass elevator to connect the two levels. Additionally, a separate elevator connects the underground parking directly to the shopping zone to ensure customer convenience.

With this opening, Lidl now operates a total of 185 stores in Slovakia.
