Lidl Plus app delivers over 30% savings for Slovak shoppers

The Lidl Plus loyalty app, available at all Lidl stores across Slovakia, offers weekly discounts that can reduce grocery bills by more than a third. A comparison shows a typical basket costing about €60.66 drops to €40.54 when purchased through the app, saving over €20.

The program provides automatically applied discounts, coupon activation, and a gift‑game that rewards customers after reaching certain spend thresholds. Lidl markets the app as a way to ease household budgets amid rising living costs, targeting everyday items such as butter, milk, coffee, bread and fruit.
