Lidl Polska contributed 3.8 billion PLN to public finances in 2025

Lidl Polska contributed over 3.8 billion PLN in taxes, contributions, and other fees to the public finance sector in 2025, marking an increase of approximately 300 million PLN compared to the previous year. The report, prepared by Deloitte and presented at the XXXV Economic Forum in Karpacz, details the breakdown of these payments, which include approximately 1.2 billion PLN in VAT, 690.3 million PLN in ZUS social security contributions, nearly 573.9 million PLN in retail sales tax, and over 542.7 million PLN in CIT.

Beyond direct tax payments, Deloitte estimated that Lidl's activities generated 11.23 billion PLN in added value for the Polish economy. While the company directly employed 26,050 people at the end of 2025, the report suggests its operations supported a total of 51,671 jobs, generating 2.8 billion PLN in household income. The company also maintains relationships with 386 Polish suppliers.
