Lidl recalls Dulano Salami over E. coli contamination in Germany

Gustoland GmbH has recalled the 100‑gram “Dulano Delikatess Edel Salami Rind” sold at Lidl after laboratory tests detected verotoxin‑producing Escherichia coli. The bacteria can cause severe diarrhoea and, in vulnerable groups, hemolytic‑uremic syndrome.

The affected product bears the minimum‑use‑by date 10 08 2026 and identity code DE EV 42 EG. It was distributed through Lidl stores in ten German federal states: Baden‑Württemberg, Bayern, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein‑Westfalen, Rheinland‑Pfalz, Saarland and Schleswig‑Holstein.

Customers may return any purchased pack to any Lidl branch for a full refund, even without a receipt. Lidl operates a dedicated recall hotline (00800 5435 5435) for inquiries. Other Dulano or Gustoland items sold at Lidl are not affected by the recall.
