Lidl recalls Milbona protein pudding due to bacterial risk

Lidl has issued a recall for a specific batch of Milbona brand chocolate-flavored protein pudding due to potential microbiological non-compliance involving Bacillus cereus. The recall, announced by the Ministry of Health, affects 200g containers with the expiration date (TMC) of 14/09/2026 and EAN code 4056489216162.

Bacillus cereus is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning, typically resulting in vomiting or diarrhea. While symptoms often resolve within 24 to 48 hours, caution is advised for children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals.

Consumers who purchased the affected product are advised not to consume it and to return it to a Lidl store for a refund. A refund is available even without a receipt if the packaging is presented.
