Lidl reorganizes non-food assortment in Germany
Lidl has implemented a new organizational structure for its non-food products across approximately 3,250 stores in Germany. Moving away from the previous unpredictable middle-aisle presentation, the retailer has introduced six permanent themed sections to improve customer navigation.
These themed areas are organized around specific private labels: Parkside for tools and garden equipment, Silvercrest for household appliances, Crivit for sports, Livarno for home goods, Esmara for fashion, and Lupilu for baby products. The new layout utilizes color-coded markings and visible signage to delineate these sections, which are positioned in a continuous stretch between the refrigerated aisles and the checkout area.
As part of this transition, Parkside has been designated as the primary brand for DIY, tools, and gardening supplies. Recent promotional offers under this brand include seasonal items such as chainsaws, leaf blowers, and plant protection products.
