Lidl’s latest summer offerings have sparked long lines at Spanish stores. The 89.99‑euro gas pizza oven, marketed for outdoor use, can reach 400 °C in 15 minutes and includes a cordierite stone, built‑in thermometer and portable design, prompting shoppers to line up for professional‑grade pizza making at home.

The retailer’s Monsieur Cuisine Smart cooking robot, priced at 399.99 euros, offers 1 200 W power, a 4.5‑liter stainless steel bowl, a large touchscreen, Wi‑Fi connectivity and guided video recipes. Its multifunctional capabilities—from sautéing to sous‑vide—have also generated kilometer‑long queues as consumers seek an affordable alternative to high‑end kitchen appliances.
