Lidl Suomi reports revenue growth to 2.08 billion euros

Lidl Suomi reported strong financial results for the fiscal year ending February 2026, with revenue reaching approximately 2.08 billion euros, representing a 2.9 percent increase from the previous year. The company achieved an operating profit of 72.6 million euros, growing faster than the overall market.

CFO Sami Pyykönen attributed this growth to competitive pricing, an expanded product range of approximately 500 items, and improvements to the customer shopping experience, such as redesigned middle aisles and extended opening hours. The company also expanded its physical footprint, growing its store network to 210 locations and employing an average of 5,900 people.

Lidl continues to focus on efficiency and ease of shopping to compete with major domestic retailers. The company also noted investments in Finland totaling 48 million euros during the period.
