Lidl is launching an affordable cast iron casserole dish under its Silvercrest brand, designed as a budget-friendly alternative to premium Le Creuset cocottes.

The 25-centimeter dish has a 5-liter maximum capacity and features an enameled finish suitable for stews and roasts. Its design includes a lid with protrusions to return steam and liquids to the food, helping to maintain moisture during slow cooking. The cookware is compatible with various stovetops, including induction, and is intended for both cooking and direct table service.
