Lidl to restock Tronic dehumidifier amid home humidity management tips

Lidl is set to restock its Tronic dehumidifier for 89.99 euros. The compact device, which has been a high seller, is designed for medium-sized rooms and can extract up to 10 liters of water every 24 hours. It features an extractable tank with a visible level indicator, an automatic shut-off system, and a washable dust filter to improve air quality.

Regarding home humidity management, air quality expert Kirsi Säkkinen from the Finnish association Hengitysliitto notes that while leaving a bathroom door open after showering can help, the efficiency of the ventilation system is the most critical factor. Moisture should ideally be removed through the bathroom's extraction vent. Säkkinen suggests using a squeegee to remove excess water from surfaces and ensuring there is a gap under the door for air replacement if the ventilation system requires it.
