Lidl US recalls Eridanous Shortbread cookies for undeclared allergens

Lidl US announced a voluntary recall of all Eridanous Shortbread Cookies with chocolate truffle coating and apricot filling after discovering that the packaging did not list four major allergens – wheat, soy, milk and egg – in English. The product was distributed in stores across ten states (Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia) between July 15 and July 22, 2026.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted the recall notice and confirmed that, to date, no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported. Lidl urges consumers who have purchased the product to discard it or return it to any Lidl store for a full refund, no receipt required.
