Liebherr-Aerospace invests 40 million euros in French facility
Liebherr-Aerospace has inaugurated a new center of excellence at its Campsas facility near Toulouse, France, following an investment exceeding 40 million euros. The project, which involved two years of construction, has doubled the site's total area by adding 12,000 square meters of industrial space.
The new facility is dedicated to the production of aeronautical heat exchangers and thermal management systems. These components are critical for aircraft cabin air conditioning, pressurization, and equipment cooling. The expansion aims to meet the increased production demands of current aircraft programs while preparing for the requirements of next-generation aircraft.
The facility is equipped with advanced infrastructure, including welding systems, brazing furnaces, automated machining technologies, and sophisticated testing equipment. As a result of this expansion, the company expects to increase its local workforce from approximately 200 employees to 400 by the end of 2026.
