Liebherr expands 50-tonne crawler excavator lineup
Liebherr has expanded its crawler excavator portfolio in the 50-tonne segment with the introduction of three new Generation 8 models: the R 948 G8, R 952 G8, and R 958 G8.
The new lineup is designed for specific heavy-duty applications. The R 948 G8 is optimized for earthmoving with an LC chassis and a focus on fuel efficiency. The R 952 G8 serves as a versatile mid-range option, offering multiple chassis variants and increased engine power to suit diverse operating conditions. The R 958 G8 is built for demanding mining and extraction environments, featuring a robust S-HD chassis and mass excavation equipment.
All three models incorporate reinforced structures made from high-strength steels and castings. They also feature the emCAB operator’s cab, the INTUSI interface, and an automatic central lubrication system designed to maximize uptime and simplify maintenance.
