Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce holds 2026 Mobility Week

The Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce (LIHK) held its 2026 Mobility Week from September 21 to 27, aimed at encouraging sustainable commuting habits and reducing traffic congestion. The initiative saw significant participation, with over 600 individuals taking part in a competition designed to reward employees from LIHK member companies and the Liechtenstein administration who opted out of driving alone to work at least once during the week.

A new collaborative effort with the transport company LIEmobil featured the slogan ‘Less traffic. More wow.’ During the week, representatives distributed hundreds of granola bars to bus commuters at key transit hubs in Schaan and Vaduz to show appreciation for those choosing public transportation. The LIHK emphasizes that improving traffic flow and utilizing existing infrastructure more efficiently are vital for maintaining the region's attractiveness as a business location.
