Liechtenstein hosts Olympic Day for 900 students

Approximately 900 students participated in Olympic Day in Liechtenstein, an event designed to promote movement, community, and Olympic values. Under the motto ‘Move, Learn, Discover’, children from the 4th and 5th primary school levels engaged with 30 different sports stations across the country, including athletics, gymnastics, windsurfing, and model flying.

The stations were managed by trainers from Liechtenstein's sports associations. The event concluded with a ceremony at Peter-Kaiser-Platz in Vaduz, featuring a procession of students alongside Olympic athletes such as Tina Weirather. Stefan Marxer, President of the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee, and Secretary General Stephan Jäger emphasized the importance of sport in fostering health and social cohesion.
