Liepāja Puppet Theatre to perform in Klaipėda

The Liepāja Puppet Theatre from Latvia will visit the Klaipėda Puppet Theatre stage on October 30–31. The visit features two distinct productions designed for different age groups.

On October 30, the theatre will present ‘Metamorphosis’ (14+), a non-verbal puppet performance based on Franz Kafka’s famous work. The production explores themes of loneliness, alienation, and the fragile need for human connection through a unique staging where the protagonist, Gregor Samsa, is a puppet and his family members act as puppeteers.

On October 31, the theatre will host ‘Me and My Mother’ (1+), a sensory play designed for infants aged one and older. This production focuses on a gentle, sensory-based journey through the natural world, utilizing sounds, scents, and rhythms to foster connection and discovery.
