Liev Schreiber confronts reporter at 'Nocturne' premiere

Actor Liev Schreiber engaged in a heated confrontation with an Apple TV reporter during the New York City premiere of his new series, ‘Nocturne’. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, October 20, 2026.

Schreiber criticized the reporter’s questioning style, arguing that her approach was designed to elicit brief social media soundbites rather than meaningful engagement with the work. He urged the interviewer to “talk to people like you value what they do” and expressed frustration that short, three-word questions fail to promote the series effectively.

Despite the tension, the exchange eventually turned more cordial after the reporter posed a follow-up question that Schreiber welcomed.
