Life is a Flower play to debut at Piccolo Eliseo in Rome

The tragicomedy “Life is a Flower” will be performed at the Piccolo Eliseo in Rome from November 10 to 15, 2026. Produced by Mulino ad Arte, the play is directed by Raffaele Latagliata and features a script by Daniele Ronco and Francesco Bianchi.

Set in a dystopian future shaped by climate crisis, the story depicts a world where air is nearly unbreathable and water is strictly rationed. The narrative follows the forced coexistence of two men from different generations: Vez, an elderly widowed architect, and Gio, a young travel influencer with a mysterious past. Through their interaction, the play explores themes of loneliness, generational divides, and the necessity of mutual understanding in a collapsing environment.
