Life is Tech! launches JRNY career app for students

Life is Tech! has released the iOS version of ‘JRNY’, a smart career education and job-hunting application designed for university and vocational students. The app aims to shift the job-hunting process from ‘quantitative exhaustion’ to ‘qualitative inquiry’ by focusing on a student’s personal ‘career axis’ rather than merely matching them to job openings.

Key features of the app include AI-driven self-analysis using STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) methodology, a database for company matching based on personal values, educational lectures on industry research, and tools for journaling and selection management. The goal is to help students develop self-understanding early to prevent mismatches and early turnover after employment.

In conjunction with the launch, Life is Tech! has begun a joint demonstration project with the Sophia University Career Center. This partnership aims to establish a new model for university career support, helping students habituate reflection and allowing university staff to focus on more intensive, individualized guidance.
