Life sciences research positions announced by IISER Bhopal and ICGEB

Several research institutions have announced openings for life sciences professionals.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is seeking a Project Associate I to work on a research project investigating RNA-binding proteins and their role in regulating alternative splicing in breast cancer cells. The position offers a monthly salary of ₹31,000 and is scheduled to last until March 31, 2027. Applications must be submitted by August 15, 2026.

Additionally, the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) has released a notification for a Junior Research Fellow position. The role is intended for candidates with an M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an equivalent field, with preference given to those who have cleared DBT/CSIR JRF and possess experience in anaerobic culturing and Omics analyses. The application deadline is August 21, 2026.
