Lifebuoy supports students in Lai Chau, Lao Cai, and Quang Tri

Lifebuoy, in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, has launched a support program for students in Lai Chau, Lao Cai, and Quang Tri provinces to mark the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

The initiative focuses on providing practical aid to students in disadvantaged border areas. Key activities include improving school facilities, offering free health examinations and consultations, and distributing essential items such as shoes and school supplies. In Lai Chau, specifically at Phuc Than Primary School, 50 scholarships worth 50 million VND were awarded to students facing financial difficulties.

The support comes at a critical time for several regions. In Muong Than, Lai Chau, recent flash floods in July 2026 caused significant damage to local infrastructure, leaving many schools needing repairs and cleanup from mud and debris. The program aims to provide motivation and health support for students in these challenging environments.
