Elvis Crespo headlines The Event 2026 in Puerto Plata

Lifestyle Holidays concluded its annual The Event 2026 celebration in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with a headline performance by Puerto Rican merenguero Elvis Crespo. The three-day festival attracted over 2,000 national and international tourists to various venues within the resort complex.

The event featured a diverse lineup, including the ‘Tropical Breeze’ session with Groove Wave and DJ Jordy Estrella, as well as performances by Playback Band, Frandy Sax, and VDJ Julian Serrano. The central festivities on September 19 included audiovisual shows, dancers, and fireworks.

Markus Wischenbart, president of the Lifestyle Hotel Group, noted the company’s 24-year history in the region and its contribution to the local economy, stating that the group generates more than 3,000 direct jobs in the North Coast area.
