Lifestyle trends in Portugal embrace autumn themes

As temperatures drop in Portugal, seasonal trends are shifting toward indoor activities, including reading and autumn-themed culinary experiences.

In the literary sector, October features several new book releases. Notable upcoming titles include “O Palácio das Lágrimas” by José Rodrigues dos Santos, scheduled for release on October 20 in both standard and collector's editions. Additionally, João Tordo is releasing the thriller “O Inferno Cheio,” concluding a series featuring investigators Pilar Benamor and Cícero Gusmão. Other highlighted works include the psychological thriller “Mentes Alteradas” by T. J. Payne and romance novels such as “Antes, Agora, Sempre” by Amanda Gayle and “Se Te Faz Feliz” by Julie Olivia.

In the kitchenware market, Le Creuset has launched a new collection dedicated to the autumn season and harvest. The collection features pumpkin-shaped casseroles and a color palette of oranges and greens. The product range includes cast iron pots, pans, mugs, teapots, and Halloween-themed accessories, with prices ranging from €35 to €349.
