Lifestyle trends: Pet-friendly design in Taiwan and celebrity relocation to China

In Taiwan, Chen Xinyi (Lea), director of Leap Year Interior Design, is focusing on pet-friendly living spaces. Her designs emphasize the coexistence of humans and animals, featuring elements such as built-in pet doors, specialized cleaning zones in entryways to manage pet hygiene, and multi-functional furniture like cat-friendly bookshelves that serve human needs as pets age.

In China, former TVB entertainer Cai Qijun has shared details of his new residence in Foshan. After facing business setbacks in the food industry, Cai has found success in live-stream commerce. His 1,400-square-foot home includes specialized features such as a large walk-in closet, a dedicated hobby room for vintage games and anime collectibles, and pet-friendly amenities like specialized steps for his dog.
