Lifetime announces August

Lifetime is presenting a special programming event throughout August titled "Faces of Deceit," featuring a series of psychological thrillers and suspense films. The lineup focuses on themes of hidden identities, dangerous secrets, and broken trust among family members and acquaintances.

Featured premieres include "The Woman With My Face," inspired by true events regarding identical twins, and "Bonds Will Be Broken," which explores the dangers of cults. Other upcoming titles include "Dead Girl Summer," "The Prep School Disappearance," and "The Dangerous Midwife."

One of the highlighted films, "Monster in the Family: The Stacey Kananen Story," stars Elisha Cuthbert. Based on a true crime case in the United States, the film depicts the investigation into the deaths of Stacey Kananen's mother and father, and the subsequent legal battles involving her brother.
