Liga 1 denies sanctions for coaches Pablo Guede and Miguel Rondelli

The Peruvian Liga 1 has clarified the disciplinary status of coaches Pablo Guede of Alianza Lima and Miguel Rondelli of FBC Melgar following their recent criticisms of VAR officiating.

While initial reports suggested that Guede would face a disciplinary hearing and potential multi-match suspension due to his comments regarding a disallowed goal in the match against Cusco FC, the Liga de Fútbol Profesional Peruana (LFPP) has officially denied these rumors. The league's communications department stated, “We comply with clarifying that the Disciplinary Commission-LFPP has not opened a disciplinary process against Miguel Rondelli, DT of FBC Melgar, nor Pablo Guede, DT of Alianza Lima.”

Consequently, both managers are cleared to lead their respective teams in upcoming matches: Rondelli for Melgar against Deportivo Garcilaso, and Guede for Alianza Lima against Atlético Grau.
