Liga 2: FC Bihor and SC Popești Leordeni settle for draws

In Romania's Liga 2, FC Bihor and SC Popești Leordeni both suffered frustrating draws.

FC Bihor coach Erik Lincar expressed disappointment following a 1-1 draw against ASA Târgu Mureş. Despite leading during the match, the team failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities and conceded a late equalizer. Lincar cited medical absences for players Tescan, Antoche, and Gal-Andrezly as complicating factors. After three rounds, FC Bihor sits in 16th place with two points.

Meanwhile, SC Popești Leordeni also finished with a 1-1 draw against CSC Dumbrăvița. After Adrian Căprarua scored in the 34th minute, Dumbrăvița secured an equalizer through Dragoș Mucuță in the 90+4 minute. Popești Leordeni coach Cătălin Gheorghe criticized his players for prioritizing individual play over collective effort and noted potential refereeing errors regarding a missed penalty.
