Liga 3 schedule announced for new Romanian football season

The Romanian Football Federation has released the schedule and group distributions for the upcoming Liga 3 season. The league will consist of eight series, each containing 12 teams.

In Series 2, Corona Brașov is set to make its home debut against ACS Mediaș. The series also features several local matchups, including a Brașov derby between CSM Săcele and Kids Tâmpa Brașov.

In Series 8, three teams from Maramureș—CS Minaur Baia Mare, CSM Sighetu Marmației, and the newly promoted Academica Recea—will compete together. This group also includes teams from Cluj, Sălaj, Satu Mare, and Bihor.

The season follows a home-and-away format with 22 matches per team. The top four teams from each series will advance to a play-off to compete for promotion to Liga 2, while the bottom two teams in each series will be directly relegated to Liga 4.
