Liga Challenge: Sevilla and Al-Qázeres secure opening victories

The opening round of the women's Liga Challenge basketball season featured key matchups in Spain. Sevilla secured a victory against BF León with a final score of 84-73 at the Palacio de Deportes de León. Despite a competitive first quarter, BF León struggled to keep pace after Sevilla established a significant lead by halftime.

In another fixture, Al-Qázeres Extremadura defeated Recoletas Zamora 73-64. Al-Qázeres maintained control for much of the game, led by a standout performance from Nerea Liste, who recorded 21 points and 13 rebounds. The win provides early momentum for the Cáceres-based team despite facing resource constraints heading into the new season.
