Liga Deportiva Alajuelense is preparing to officially present Óscar Ramírez as its new head coach. Following the departure of Ismael Rescalvo, Ramírez is expected to sign his contract this Saturday, with an official presentation scheduled for Monday. He will be accompanied by assistant coach Wardy Alfaro.

Separately, player Roan Wilson addressed recent criticism regarding a jersey exchange with defender Jorkaeff Azofeifa following a national derby loss.
