Liga F secures broadcasting rights with DAZN, TVE, and TV3
Spain’s top-flight women’s football league, Liga F, has secured domestic broadcasting rights for the next three seasons through the 2028/29 campaign. The agreement involves a hybrid model between subscription and free-to-air services.
DAZN will hold the rights to broadcast all eight matches from every round. Public broadcaster TVE and Catalan broadcaster TV3 will jointly provide four matches per round on free-to-air television. This arrangement aims to increase the visibility and profile of women’s football in Spain and Andorra.
The deal follows a period of uncertainty after an initial bidding round failed to meet the league's minimum reserve prices. A second round of bidding concluded on August 19, resulting in the current agreement. The new broadcasting cycle is scheduled to begin with the 2026/27 season.
