Liga Galega de Traiñeiras enters final stages in Castropol
The Liga Galega de Traiñeiras enters its final stages with the Bandera Princesa de Asturias being held in Castropol. This event marks the only non-Galician location for the competition this season.
In the men's division, Cabo da Cruz leads the standings, while the battle for second place remains intense among teams from the Ría de Vigo. In the women's division, Perillo has already secured the title, leaving the competition to focus on the runner-up position, where Chapela holds a three-point lead over Tirán Pereira.
The Asturian club Club de Mar Castropol continues to face challenges in the men's League A. Despite significant travel requirements and a recent roster turnover that saw nine departures, the team is preparing for the upcoming regattas. The club is currently undergoing a transition under new coach Unai Fernández following the departure of Toni Montenegro.
