Liga Mexicana del Pacífico teams prepare for 2026-2027 season
Teams in the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico are preparing for the 2026-2027 season with various organizational updates and preseason schedules.
Algodoneros de Guasave announced the installation of a new 409-square-meter 4K resolution giant screen at Kuroda Park, intended to be one of the largest in Latin America. The club also revealed a revamped coaching staff led by manager Óscar Robles, featuring new additions such as pitching coach David Rosario and catcher coach Rogelio del Campo.
Venados de Mazatlán will begin preseason training on September 10 with 80 players, including pitcher José Luis Urquidy. The club is also hosting community events, including visits from 1,500 youth players to the Teodoro Mariscal stadium. Their season opener is scheduled for October 14 against Tomateros de Culiacán.
Águilas de Mexicali will begin formal training on September 8. Their preseason includes a tour of the United States, with games scheduled in Ontario, California; Salt Lake, Utah; Tucson, Arizona; and Bakersfield, California. The team will host Naranjeros de Hermosillo for the season opener on October 14.
