Liga MX Femenil adjusts schedule and addresses scoring disparities

The Liga MX Femenil has announced a minor schedule adjustment for the upcoming Matchday 10 fixture between Rayadas de Monterrey and Club América Femenil. The match, scheduled to take place at the Estadio BBVA, will now begin at 21:10 instead of the originally planned 21:00.

Separately, Pumas coach Roberto Medina has addressed the high frequency of large scorelines during the Apertura 2026 tournament. Medina attributed the significant goal disparities to a growing imbalance between established, high-ranking clubs such as América, Rayadas, and Tigres, and teams currently undergoing structural rebuilding, such as Necaxa, Cruz Azul, and Puebla.
