Liga Paivense Clausura football tournament begins Saturday in Argentina

The Liga Regional Paivense de Fútbol will launch its Clausura tournament on Saturday, 4 July, with matches for the first, reserve and senior divisions. Eleven clubs will compete, including the newly added Payucano de Helvecia, while Halcones and Cruz Roja will not take part. The schedule features eleven rounds, with one team having a bye each matchday.

Key fixtures for the opening round include the recent champion Central Oeste visiting Sportivo Videla, the Asto – Defensores derby, and Estrellas de Talleres hosting San Martín de Monte Vera. Matches will run at 14:00 (reserve), 16:00 (first) and 18:00 (senior), with junior games on Sundays. The competition will pause for the winter holidays before resuming later in the season.
