Light art festivals transform cities in Prague and the Mur region

Various European cities are hosting light art festivals featuring digital installations and projections.

In Prague, the 14th Signal Festival is taking place from October 15 to 18 under the theme ‘Dream On! Dreams and Visions’. The event features 21 installations across the city, including a new route in the Dejvice district. Highlights include light landscapes on historical facades and student projects from local technical universities.

In the Mur region, the Water & Light Festival is running through October 25. The event features twelve light installations spread across Bad Radkersburg in Austria and Gornja Radgona in Slovenia. Part of the EU-funded deProfundis project, the festival uses light, sound, and holograms to showcase regional geological features, such as mineral springs and mofettes.
