Light opens 49 administrative apprentice positions in Rio de Janeiro

Light has opened applications for 49 administrative apprentice positions through its Jovem Aprendiz Program. The opportunities are aimed at individuals aged 18 to 21 who are currently enrolled in high school and seeking their first professional experience.

Available positions are located in several areas of Rio de Janeiro, including Centro, Cascadura, Penha Circular, Barra da Tijuca, and Campo Grande, as well as the municipalities of Duque de Caxias, Queimados, and Itaguaí. The program offers two modalities: one involving theoretical training at SENAI combined with practical experience at Light units, and another where all activities take place at SENAI Nova Iguaçu. Benefits include a stipend, meal vouchers, and transportation vouchers.

Broadly, the Jovem Aprendiz program in Brazil combines practical corporate learning with courses from authorized institutions. For companies with at least seven employees in technical roles, maintaining an apprentice quota between 5% and 15% is a legal requirement. Other major entities such as Banco do Brasil and Vale also maintain apprenticeship programs with specific eligibility criteria and benefits.
