Lightbulb Crew launches Ex Sanguis in Steam Early Access

Lightbulb Crew has launched its new tactical roguelite, Ex Sanguis, in Early Access on Steam. The game features a stylized black-and-white world that incorporates red hues during combat.

Players control a group of elite warriors known as the Stillae, engaging in turn-based combat against the forces of Stasis. A core mechanic of the gameplay involves timeline manipulation, allowing players to accelerate, slow down, or swap the positions of units within the turn order. The tactical experience is further enhanced by environmental interactions, such as flanking, line-of-sight mechanics, and destructible surroundings.

The initial Early Access release includes two biomes—the Desert and the City—along with one major boss and two mini-bosses. Players can choose from three archetypes and customize them using various traits and skills. Progress made during runs allows for character reinforcement and new customization options in subsequent attempts.
