Lightning Minerals identifies gold targets at Mt Turner

Lightning Minerals has identified two significant gold target areas within the Western Zone of its Mt Turner Gold Project in northern Queensland. Following a soil geochemistry program, the company reported a northern target featuring a 1km continuous gold anomaly and a potential hydrothermal footprint.

In the southern portion of the zone, four subparallel gold trends have been identified, with peak gold-in-soil values reaching 330 parts per billion. Managing Director Troy Brice noted that the results represent an important step in evaluating the broader district-scale potential of the Mt Turner Project.

Recent rock chip sampling also yielded 1.19 grams per tonne gold and 38.80g/t silver from mineralised rhyolite breccia. The company is considering a follow-up program involving additional soil sampling and trenching to further investigate the northern gold trend.
