LIGHTSUM to release Japanese debut mini-album in September

K-pop girl group LIGHTSUM is set to release their major debut mini-album, titled ‘Re:idol’, in Japan on September 23. The group, originally debuted under CUBE Entertainment in June 2021, is undergoing a transformation to adopt a “Japanese-style idol” concept.

The project is being documented in the ABEMA original series ‘Re:Idol’, which follows the members as they learn Japanese-style makeup, self-introduction techniques, and local dance trends. The upcoming album will feature five tracks, including four original songs and a new “Kawaii ver.” of their previously released single “POSE!”.
