Lignano Sabbiadoro and Serramanna host June basketball tournaments in Italy

From 19 to 21 June 2026, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the third edition of the Summer Cup, a youth basketball tournament organized by Tutto Tornei at the Villaggio Bella Italia complex. The event will feature multiple male and female age categories, ranging from U13 to U19 for boys and from Libellule to U17 for girls, with qualifying rounds, semifinals and finals scheduled over three days.

On 27 and 28 June 2024, the town of Serramanna will stage the tenth "24 ore basket no‑stop" marathon at the Bia Nuraminis sports hall. Open to participants of any age, gender or ability, the two‑day event aims to achieve 24 continuous hours of play while celebrating the local team’s recent regional division title. Registrations are open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Both tournaments are organized to promote grassroots basketball, provide competition opportunities for young athletes, and engage local communities through sport, food and music.
