Lignano Sabbiadoro hosts Italian Beach Rugby tournament stage

On Saturday 4 July 2026 the Beach Arena in Lignano Sabbiadoro hosted the fourth leg of the Trofeo Italiano Beach Rugby 2026. Both men’s and women’s teams competed for a place in the season‑ending final at San Benedetto del Tronto. Men’s matches began at 10:30 with The Monsters versus Padova Beach and continued with contests involving Crazy Crabs, Giona’s Beach Brothers and others, ending with afternoon fixtures at 15:45 and 16:00. Women’s games featured Black Sharks, Patavium Rugby and The Fox, with matches at 11:30, 15:30 and 17:30.

The Lignano leg follows earlier stages in Eraclea Mare, Chioggia, Caorle and Cavallino Treporti and precedes Rosolina Mare on 11 July and Alpago on 18 July, the latter part of the Vittoria for Women Tour. The national final will be staged in San Benedetto del Tronto on 25‑26 July, concluding the 2026 beach‑rugby circuit organized by the Federazione Italiana Rugby (FIR).
