Strasbourg defeats Troyes 6-2 as Antoine Mendy suffers knee injury

In Ligue 1 action, Racing Strasbourg secured a dominant 6-2 away victory against Troyes. Despite Troyes taking an early lead through Antoine Mille in the 9th minute, Strasbourg responded with goals from Jacobo Ortega and Diogo Sousa before halftime. In the second half, Giovanni Reyna scored, followed by a brace from Samuel Amo-Ameyaw and a final goal from Conrad Harder. The victory moves Strasbourg to sixth in the standings.

Separately, OGC Nice defender Antoine Mendy has suffered a serious injury. Following a 1-1 draw against Le Mans, medical examinations confirmed a rupture of the left cruciate ligament. The 22-year-old international is expected to be sidelined for several months, a significant blow for both his club and the Senegal national team. Mendy's absence leaves Nice with a depleted defensive roster, joining other injured players like Laurent Abergel and Moïse Bombito.
