Ligue 2 players see high market valuations led by Tylel Tati

The CIES Football Observatory has released its ranking of the top 10 most valuable players in France's Ligue 2 for the 2026-2027 season. The total market value of the top 10 players stands at 113.4 million euros, significantly higher than Italy's Serie B but lower than the English Championship and Spanish Liga 2.

FC Nantes players feature prominently in the rankings, with 18-year-old defender Tylel Tati identified as the most valuable player in the league. Estimates for Tati range between 15 million and 20.8 million euros. Other notable Nantes players in the top 10 include Louis Leroux and Johann Lepenant.

The top 10 list is characterized by a young demographic, with an average age of 22.2 years, and long-term contract commitments extending to 2029-2031. Many of the high-value players are recent arrivals from Ligue 1 clubs such as FC Nantes, FC Metz, Stade de Reims, and AS Saint-Étienne.
