Liguria Chamber of Commerce launches new arbitration agreement

The Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce, the Milan Arbitration Chamber (CAM), and the Bar Associations of Imperia and La Spezia have established a new agreement to streamline the resolution of commercial disputes in Liguria.

Effective September 15, the initiative aims to provide businesses and professionals with an accessible alternative to traditional court proceedings through arbitration. Under this framework, disputes are resolved via binding arbitration awards that hold the same legal weight as court sentences. To support local expertise, a Consultative Committee will identify and promote local lawyers and experts to serve as arbitrators for the Milan Arbitration Chamber.
