Liguria launches digital skills training programs for employment

Several regional initiatives in Liguria, Italy, are launching to enhance digital skills and promote employment through specialized vocational training.

The “Dalla formazione al lavoro: competenze digitali per l’artigianato” project, led by Consorzio Valbormida Formazione in partnership with the municipalities of Altare and Murialdo, offers a free professional qualification for CAD Technicians. Funded by the FSE+ Liguria 2021-2027 program, the 600-hour course includes theoretical training, practical laboratory work, and internships within local artisan sectors such as wood, glass, and furniture. Applications are open until September 30, 2026.

Additionally, the “Food, Logistic & Countryside 4.0” project, spearheaded by Forma Mentis S.r.l. in collaboration with the Metropolitan City of Genoa and the municipalities of Carasco and Cicagna, aims to revitalize the Ligurian hinterland. This integrated program focuses on two training paths: “Country Chef 4.0,” which combines traditional culinary arts with digital skills, and “Country Logistic,” designed to train warehouse workers to meet modern logistical needs in the region.
